Well, this is a first.
The South Region final between No. 9 seed Iowa and No. 3 seed Illinois entered a lengthy delay with the Hawkeyes leading the Illini, 22-20, when the Toyota Center horn malfunctioned.
Play had to be delayed because the horn wouldn't stop.
It created quite the stir across social media as fans tried to make sense of the wacky situation. Meanwhile, as expected, legendary play-by-play man Kevin Harlan found a way to make the situation entertaining alongside color analysts Robbie Hummel and Stan Van Gundy and sideline reporter Lauren Shehadi.
