Indeed, he picked up a yellow card for a cynical tackle on Adrien Rabiot.
However, the 26-year-old injured himself in the process, as a nasty collision with the Rossoneri midfielder left him with a minor physical problem.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu may not be able to call upon his defensive mainstay on Saturday.

In addition to Hakan Calhanoglu and Lautaro Martinez, who are still recovering from injury, Bastoni also couldn’t train with the team.
Instead, the former Atalanta man had a personalized training session, casting further doubt on his availability for the upcoming game at San Siro.
With Bastoni at risk of missing Saturday’s fixture, Chivu is likely to turn to Carlos Augusto to fill the void.
Indeed, the Brazilian took Bastoni’s place in the Milan derby and fared reasonably well.
