Inter already eyeing date for 2025-26 Serie A trophy lift

Inter are on their way to claiming the 2025-26 Scudetto and a potential date for the trophy celebrations has already been identified.

When could Inter receive the Serie A trophy?​

Inter have a 12-point lead at the top of the Serie A table heading into the final five matches of the 2025-26 season after their 3-0 victory over Cagliari and second-placed Napoli’s 2-0 defeat at home against Lazio on Sunday.

This means that there is a chance that Cristian Chivu’s side mathematically secure the title in their next Serie A fixture against Torino. The Nerazzurri will still have several chances to mathematically secure the Serie A trophy before the final round of the 2025-26 season even if they fail to win next weekend.

If Inter secure the Serie A title within the next three matches, which is highly likely given their +12 advantage and a reasonable run of fixtures against Torino and Parma coming up in the next two weeks, they will receive the Serie A trophy on the pitch in their final home match of the 2025-26 season, which falls against Hellas Verona on May 17.

The time of Inter’s match against Verona on May 17 is yet to be officially confirmed.
