After being ruled out for the first game out of the All-Star break on Thursday against the Boston Celtics, Steph Curry's absence due to a lingering knee injury is set to extend. With Curry already missing five games and counting, the All-Star point guard will miss more time with right patellofemoral pain syndrome/bone bruising.

Prior to Thursday's contest against the Celtics, the Warriors provided an update on Curry's injury, announcing he will be re-evaluated in 10-days. The veteran guard underwent an MRI that showed no structural damage.

Curry is set to be re-evaluated on Saturday, Feb. 28, the final day of February. Before Feb. 28, the Warriors will play five games while Curry is sidelined. Curry will miss games against the Celtics, Denver Nuggets, New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers. Curry's next chance to play will be March 7 against the Los Angeles Clippers at Chase Center.

With Curry sidelined, the Warriors will continue to lean on Pat Spencer, De'Anthony Melton and Brandin Podziemski in the backcourt alongside Moses Moody and Will Richard.
