With the return of Seth Curry and Quinten Post, it appeared the Golden State Warriors were receiving some much-needed reinforcements on Sunday night when they met the Denver Nuggets. However, the injury bug continued to bite the Warriors on Sunday evening.

After missing five of the last seven games with a lingering foot injury, Post's foot appeared to hamper him again on Sunday. Post left the game against the Nuggets and was later ruled out for the remainder of the game with soreness in his right foot. Prior to exiting the game, Post notched two boards in five minutes.

Another injury for the Warriors. Backup center Quinten Post limping to the locker room after going down with a lower right leg issue. He’s had ankle and foot trouble recently.

In his sophomore season, Post is averaging 7.7 points on 44% shooting from the field and 33.6% from beyond the arc with four rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest.

The Warriors had to finish Sunday's contest with a thin rotation in the frontcourt, with Al Horford also sidelined against the Nuggets. Without Horford and Post, the Warriors struggled to slow down Denver's All-Star big man Nikola Jokic. Jokic led the Nuggets past the Warriors with 25 points and 15 rebounds in a 116-93 win on Sunday evening.

Post and the Warriors will get Monday and Tuesday off before meeting Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
