Al Horford was at the center of the Golden State Warriors' upset win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday afternoon at Chase Center. The veteran big man sparked the Warriors early, hitting five 3-pointers in the first half. Behind Horford's fiery first-half performance, the Warriors were able to jump out to an early advantage over Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets, all while Steph Curry, Kristaps Porzingis and Draymond Green were on the bench with injuries.
Horford finished the game with 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting with six made triples to go along with seven assists, three steals and two blocks in 27 minutes in Golden States surprise 128-117 short-handed win over Denver.
On Tuesday, to start a road back-to-back in New Orleans, the Warriors will be without Horford. Horford has been ruled out for the first leg of the back-to-back on Tuesday with left toe injury management.

Although Horford is out, the Warriors will get some reinforcements. Draymond Green has been upgraded from questionable to probable and De'Anthony Melton has been upgraded from questionable to available against the Pelicans on Tuesday.
The Warriors will meet the Pelicans on Tuesday at 5 p.m. PT.
