out: Philips, R LAwrence, CP98, Allen
IN: Leki, Blackson, Coley, Dogbe

I know Lawrence and Philips most likely are back after the Seattle game this week but this unit is getting dangerously thin. Any idea of ANY warm bodies the cards can pick up for depth?

Mmm, there are players without a team
Like dontari Poe or Marcell Dareus, but I guess there is a reason why
Maybe it's better try to add someone from the practice squad or other teams practice squad at this point
Its a position that doesn't require too much time of learning the playbook to be ready to play

I would like to see us pick up either or both of Dontari Poe and Marcell Dareus. Both are proven run stuffers. We just have too many injuries right now on our D-line.

leki isn’t playing this week

Keim should see if Quinnen Williams is still available for a 2nd.

Fotu, Lawrence and Allen are on IR
Phillips and Peters are out. Peters out for the season.

That leaves us with 3 DL, total.
Mauro, Blackson and Coley were practice squad pickups.

If either of the remaining three gets a knack during the game we will be playing a 2-5 or 1-6 defense.
Need at least another body to rotate.

Do we have any OL on the roster who could play along the DL in this emergency? Josh Jones?

We could put Gardeck or Maxx Williams out there on passing downs.

Wolf would suit up for a bag of Whataburgars and a case of beer.

We can't even pick up anyone and play them because of Covid protocols.

Get ready to have Prince Amukamara playing on the DL.

But yeah, we're going to have to get creative.

Is Mauro not still on the roster? We ran a lot of two down lineman in the Bills game with Mauro/Coley/Blackson rotating.

Dogbe should be elevated from the PS to at least give us a 4th body on the DL.

Zach Allen was put on IR on 10/27 so it's been just over 3 weeks... I don't know if he's healthy though. He's only missed 2 games so far because we had the bye week.

Rashard Lawrence went on IR on 10/17... again, I don't know if he's healthy, but he was moved to the IR Designated to Return list on 11/11.

Sweezy used to be a DL, but he's our starting RG.

POE was on the Dallas line that gave up 261 yds on the ground to us (7.5 av.) a month ago.

Drake: 164 (8.2)
Murray: 74 (7.4)
Edmonds: 23 (4.6)

It's tough enough signing a backup and only having 3 days to bring him up to speed (physically and mentally).

For Thursday, we're pretty much stuck with the guys we've already got. Tremendous opportunity for an unsung player to step up to the plate

Battle should settle in between our receivers vs. thin Seattle corners...our thin DL vs. fairly thin Seattle RB corps...& both QBs vs. opposing spy's. Game might be a giant test of the Drake/Edmonds run offense.
