With the World Cup taking the United States by storm, we decided to have a bit of fun with it last week.
We selected four male Hoosier athletes and asked you, said fans, which one you’d like to see out on the pitch with Todd Yeagley’s Indiana men’s soccer program the most. The votes are in and you’ve made your pick:

Indiana football wide receiver Charlie Becker was the runaway favorite here, winning 64% of the vote. He was trailed by cornerback Jamari Sharpe at 27% and men’s basketball guard Prince-Alexander Moody with 9%.
The selection makes sense for Becker, whose large frame and speed out wide made for several game-saving plays for Indiana throughout its run to the national championship in 2025. His height of 6’4” and speed to get out in front of a defense would be huge for finishing inside the box.
Indiana will be looking to repeat that performance in 2026, with the Hoosiers sitting at +850, the sixth best odds nationally, to repeat as national champions, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
