The Indiana Pacers took a commanding 3-1 series lead on Sunday, beating the Indiana Pacers 129-103 in a game that was never close. Indiana enjoyed 23 points and four blocks from Myles Turner, but eight total players scored in double figures.

While Tyrese Haliburton's 17 points and 15 assists are pretty eye-popping, backup point guard TJ McConnell had a stellar game as well, going for 15 points and six assists. Carlisle was able to trust his backups, namely McConnell, Jarace Walker, and Obi Toppin, to carry a bigger load than they had in previous games.

"The second unit was a big key in the game," declared Rick Carlisle. "Pascal had four fouls. We started the team in the fourth quarter without either Ty or Pascal, which we rarely do. And those guys executed. They got good shots. They put points on the board and did a good job defensively. When Milwaukee was scoring, we were able to answer back. So that was a very important part of the game. You let these guys get on and run in this building, the place just goes crazy. I mean, it's just very loud."

Indiana's bench combined for 43 points and shot an excellent nine-of-16 from deep. Meanwhile, the Bucks' bench posted 60 points but was much less efficient, and it was clear that losing Damian Lillard early in the game was going to affect them.

All season long, Carlisle and the Pacers have preached depth and pace, and in Game 4, they were finally able to open up their offense and play their brand of basketball.

With stellar results, the Pacers will aim to win in front of their home crowd and advance to take on either the Cleveland Cavaliers or Miami Heat.

The Cavs have a 3-0 lead, so the odds suggest the Pacers will have to take on the best team in the conference.
