Indiana's offense will play a full half against the defense on Thursday night, with the program using the same scoring system it used in Cignetti's debut season:
Indiana's offense won 34-25 last year thanks to a late-game comeback. Kurtis Rourke threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Andison Coby with 45 seconds to give to his group the lead. The defense had one interception and came through with six stops.
Per a press release from the school, Indiana will have giveaways for fans attending the game on the east concourse. The Hoosiers marketing team is giving away schedule posters, schedule cards and magnets starting at 7 p.m. and rally towels will be available at all gates.
The towels became a weekly tradition for home games last year and were a popular item for Hoosiers fans last season during the program's historic run to the College Football Playoff.
Indiana's concessions stands on the east side of the stadium will be open throughout the event. The release listed Indiana Sausage Haus, Victory Flag BBQ and one of the grab-and-go stands being available for fans.
The IU marching band will perform at 7:15 p.m. along with the school's cheerleaders.
