Indiana football is making sure a few recruits get a look at what kind of practice environment awaits in Bloomington should they commit to join the program. Among those recruits is Jahmiere Daniels-Portis, a linebacker out of Springfield High School in Springfield, Ohio.
Daniels-Portis is rated as a 3-star prospect by the Rivals Industry Ranking, ranking in as the 58th highest-rated linebacker and 756th highest-rated prospect overall in the class of 2027. His offers include Cincinnati, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Duke and fellow Big Ten programs Illinois and Maryland with in-state Ohio State showing interest.
He visited Indiana on Saturday, taking in a practice session at the Mellencamp Pavilion and touring the program’s facilities.

The Hoosiers currently have four commitments in the class of 2027 and are looking to capitalize after winning the national championship to conclude the 2o25 season. Both of Cignetti’s first two teams featured strong play at linebacker from the likes of Aiden Fisher, Jailin Walker, Isaiah Jones and Rolijah Hardy.
