Caitlin Clark is the star of the show in Indianapolis, and the Indiana Fever proved just how far they are willing to lean into it with an unusual move before the 2025 WNBA season.

Clark's superstardom changed the franchise immediately during her rookie season last year. She averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists en route to WNBA Rookie of the Year honors, an All-Star nod and Indiana's first playoff appearance since 2016.

Off the court, Clark made a major impact as well. The Fever set the single-season home attendance record with 340,715 seats filled in 20 home games.

Indiana's game against the Washington Mystics at Capital One Arena set the single-game attendance record at 20,711 — one of three occasions Clark's team drew a crowd of more than 20,000.

In other words that's a lot of autographs to sign.

In fact, the 2024 tour was enough for the Fever to post a 40-minute YouTube video just showing Clark signing autographs.

The longform piece of non-basketball content might have seemed like an unusual thing to publish, but when Clark is involved, fans soak up the content with no hesitation.

The comments on the YouTube video offered immense praise for the decision by the Fever's social media team that has been flooding fans with content all offseason. The video accrued nearly 25,000 views in the first 24 hours, aligning with the first day of training camp on Sunday.

"Thank you Indiana Fever social media department and organization for actually celebrating this generational talent instead of apologizing for her," praised a popular comment on YouTube.

"I love it that the Fever understand exactly what they have and what the assignment is!" added another.

"Everyone of those kids is watching this video 1000x," one fan wrote. "Fever marketing is absolutely brilliant."

"I am so so so so happy Caitlin landed in Indiana," said a comment. "Y’all seem to genuinely understand and appreciate who and what she is."

"You guys are the best!" echoed a YouTube user. "Of course we wanna watch CC signing her merch for 40 min. A rock star!"

"40 minutes of signatures?" said a fan. "ADMIN GOATED."

It followed similarly indulgent videos such as all 122 three-pointers Clark made in 2024 (16 minutes long), all 337 of her assists (one hour and six minutes) and lengthy videos of highlights from Kelsey Mitchell (one hour and four minutes), Aliyah Boston (36 minutes) and Sophie Cunningham (37 minutes).

However, Clark was the only player to have one that did not feature a single basketball play. Someone get the Indiana video editor a Gatorade.
