Indian Hill's Devlan Daniel selected for USA Baseball 18U National team trials

Indian Hill two-sport star Devlan Daniel has been invited to the USA Baseball 18U National Team training camp, to be held July 16-20 in Cary, North Carolina.

Should Daniel make the team, he will compete in the 18U Pan-American Championship, which will be played Oct. 22-29 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Daniel, a Mississippi State commit, was named to the 2026 All-Ohio Division IV first team and the Ohio Gatorade Player of the Year after hitting .436 with five doubles, five triples, four home runs, 20 runs batted in and 35 runs scored. Indian Hill went 21-5 this past spring and finished as district runner-up. He is a two-time Cincinnati Hills League Player of the Year and led the Braves to the 2025 state tournament, their first appearance since 1993.

On the football field, Daniel has led the Braves to a 22-5 record over the last two seasons and an appearance in the 2025 Division IV state semifinals. As a sophomore, he ran for a school record 2,260 yards and 34 touchdowns while recording 42 tackles and two interceptions on defense. After switching to quarterback as a junior, he threw for 1,192 yards and ran for 1,116 yards and accounted for 34 total touchdowns.
