All the talk before the game has been about the 15-year-old batting sensation, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who could become India's youngest-ever international debutant if he is named in the playing XI.
Fans expected Sooryavanshi to make his debut in the Ireland series but the team management decided to trust the old guards and did not want to make changes in the proven top order, which earned the Men in Blue their third T20 World Cup title earlier this year.
Both Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma departed for ducks in the second T20I against Ireland, which led to India's defeat in the game and they also conceded the series 2-0.
