Incredimail

Or whatever it is called. My wife accidentally switched her email to it, don't ask.

Anyone know how to get out of it? She has an AOL email account.

I am not that familiar with AOL these days but...

You should be able to just start using the AOL email client program to get mail going forward. Once you sign in to AOL program the mail link should get you to your messages.

Somewhere under 'options' you should be able to change the default email (click to not make it your default).

I recently changed to Outlook 2007 but now I cannot transfer any of those emails to Outlook

Gmail is absolutely the best for personal email. It has some awesome features.

That's the best thing about it. You get 6gb of storage. You never have to delete or backup a message again and it has its own built in search.

Unless you have specific needs and are confident in your backups. For most folks that is a good thing.

I use email from Gmail for somethings and my ISP for others but I probably have a better organized than average backup plan. As I do that stuff for a living.

If somebody is using AOL[anything] its likely they aren't a sophisticated user, hence Gmail would be a great solution. Simple, cheap available anywhere and masses of storage which Google backs up for you.
