Which actress do you feel had the best performance without getting much acclaim for it?

I'm going with Lauren Bacall in To Have and Have Not, one of my favorite movies. Her famous line about whistling is definitely one of the best lines (and deliveries) in the history of movies.

Honorable Mentions:
Grace Kelly - Rear Window
Mia Farrow - Rosemary's Baby
Irene Jacob - Red
Marilyn Monroe - Some Like It Hot
Naomi Rapace - The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
