Just two games left to suffer through for Madridistas before the 2025/26 season comes to a close. Fans were keeping a close eye on the line-up for this game, after Kylian Mbappé’s controversial Real Oviedo post match comments. The Frenchman was shown some remorse by Álvaro Arbeloa, though – starting in the attack. Thiago Pitarch also started, joined by Fran García and Brahim Díaz. Eduardo Camavinga and Álvaro Leiva were amongst the substitutes. Dani Carvajal captions the team.

Vinícius Júnior managed to score early after finding the bottom corner to provide something noteworthy for the first-half. The notebook would not be touched again for the remaining half hour. 1-0 at half-time. The second half was just as boring, with Franco Mastantuono hitting the post and Kylian Mbappé seeing a goal ruled out for offside. Full-time: 1-0 to Real Madrid – and thankfully, just one game to go now.
