WEST LAFAYETTE — Will No. 1 Barr-Reeve finish off the dream season in style? Or will No. 8 South Central (Union Mills) play spoiler?

Regardless of what happens, one of those teams is leaving Bittinger Stadium with the program's first state championship. It should be a fun battle between the top-ranked Braves (31-1) and Satellites (22-8) for the IHSAA Class 1A softball state championship on the campus of Purdue University.

First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET. An online stream of the game is available for purchase at ihsaatv.org.

This is the first ever state finals appearance for Barr-Reeve. South Central reached this point in 2022, finishing runner-up to Tecumseh.
