Four Peoria-area boys basketball teams have moved on to the Sweet Sixteen of the IHSA postseason.
In Class 2A, Manual gets a shot at another Elite Eight appearance, while Richwoods has a chance to make the program's first-ever Class 4A supersectional. Tremont moves on in Class 1A along with Morton, which cruised to a Class 3A victory.
Three more teams — Brimfield vs. Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Class 1A) and East Peoria (Class 3A) — have games on Wednesday.

CLASS 1A
Tremont (24-10)
- What's next: Tremont ended the Cinderella run by ninth-seed Illini Bluffs, 49-34 in the Monmouth United Sectional semifinal on Tuesday night. The Turks now await the winner of the other semifinal — Brimfield (25-7) vs. Dee-Mack (25-6) — on Wednesday.
CLASS 2A
Manual (21-9) vs. Warsaw West Hancock (26-7)
- What's next: The Rams and West Hancock will meet for the Chillicothe Sectional championship at 7 p.m. Friday. Manual cruised to a 66-42 win over Port Byron Riverdale in the nightcap, while West Hancock took care of Farmington, 71-41. WH last won a sectional when it hoisted the 1997 Class A state championship. Manual is looking for back-to-back sectional titles following last season's Class 2A state fourth-place finish.
CLASS 3A
Morton (29-4)
- What's next: Morton cruised to its 22nd consecutive win with a 69-48 victory over LaSalle-Peru on Tuesday night at the first Ottawa Sectional semifinal. The Potters now await the winner of Wednesday's matchup between Kankakee and East Peoria.
CLASS 4A
Richwoods (26-7) vs. Edwardsville (24-7)
- What's next: Division-I prospect Amarion Smith-Holley made three free throws with no time left on the clock to beat Normal Community, 68-67, at the Rock Island Sectional semifinal on Tuesday. He finished with 29 points. Edwardsville edged Alton, 52-51, in the other semi.
