Back in the early part of the draft evaluations i said there was no way the Bengals would draft Palmer.I based this on info from a friend of mine inside the Bengals organization.Well,barring something drastic,Palmer is going to be their pick.The scouting staff and Lewis have Newman as the top rated player but Mike Brown wants Palmer.Mike Brown looks like he's going to get his way.The thing about Newman is his shoulder injury is causing some concerns.So unless someone trades with them,not likely,or,Brown changes his mind, never,Palmer will be called first.The only other thing that could ahng up the deal is what kind of contract Palmer is looking at.Brown will spend on a QB,Akili comes to mind,but he deosn't want to get burnt again by a QB bust.So,that will be interesting.
