I'm buying what Conner is selling. He's a perfect fit . . quicker than I thought and brings the hammer.

His intangibles are off the chart. I mean you literally see him pumping up the whole team constantly throughout the course of the team. I had no idea he was such a dog. This dude oozes leadership.

Not trying to nitpick, but I resign him for money = to being the 1A, coming-off-the-bench back.

I could be completely wrong, but I don't see him as a bell-cow type back. Yes he's bruiser and a power back, but my gut tells me about 12, maybe 15 touches a game is about right for him. That's just me though.

I read it as $7m over two, which is low.

I agree with the notion of not paying backs but paying him upwards of $5m next year (which is about ~2% of the projected salary cap) wouldn’t cause me to lose sleep. The Cards have had some good teams over the years but I feel like Conner gives us a toughness level we haven’t had before and he’s more versatile than anyone thought when they signed him.
