I can’t remember where I heard it, probably the NFL Channel. But, Reddick’s name came up because of the Simmons choice. It may even have been one of the videos from the Cardinal’s website. With Evan Weaver selection, he almost has to move exclusively outside. I don’t understand why they just didn’t develop him at OLB from Day 1. There was a lot talent that went after #13, hopefully guys like Kirk & Cole pan out because Baker looks like the only player from 2017 draft that may get a second contract.

Exactly. Add to this the fact there may be no training camp which will put the rookies miles behind.

I never felt the value was there for a legitimate OLB that's better than Reddick, which isn't saying much. Simmons will get his snaps, and we can bring back a guy like Brooks Reed on the cheap as things get going.

It'll need to be addressed in 2021, for sure.

There's some really talented players that can't get moved. Hell, OJ Howard isn't a world beater, but he's leaps and bounds more productive than Reddick has been.

It's a shame, but oh well. To what degree is he one of the bigger busts we've ever had?
