We used to live in a proper country. College football and Notre Dame football used to have the best photoshop masterpieces on the internet. We used to also have the best graphic designers and “art” as well. And then along came AI.

AI has allowed any dolt with access to the internet the ability to create something out of nothing. But that something is usually so horrible, it belongs back in the nothingness it came from. I’m no innocent — I’ve used AI in a pinch to make an image or two, but each time I did, I regretted it and felt a piece of my soul burn in hell fire.

We just don’t get the volume of greatness that we used to get, and I remember it well. Two of my all-time favorite Notre Dame football creators just so happen to have OFD ties with NDMSPAINT (as well as with Rakes Report) and Brendan McAlinden (verypiratey).
