At first I thought it ricocheted off of his arm/shoulder, which would have still been a bitch, but when I saw it hit the side of his head in slow motion, my jaw dropped.

Signs point to him making a recovery as there are no fractures or internal bleeding, but I pray he returns. Nobody deserves that kind of punishment, even if its a risk every player takes on the field.

BTW - did anyone notice that all of Dodgers came to his aid right after the incident, except......Manny.

It took him a good five minutes of sitting by himself in the outfield to go to the mound and make sure his teammate was alright. Apparently, he just doesn't give a crap except for getting his $25 mil this season.

One of the more classless moves he's made in his career.
