British Marines report that the city of Umm Qasr was without drinkable water when they entered it. Iraqi hospitals have been shut down by their military to be used as bunkers for surprise attacks. The Iraqi government's treatment of its own people is deplorable, and many more civilians have been injured or rendered homeless as a side effect of the Allied bombing campaign.
Long story short is, it's going to be a real mess when the relief agencies get in there and they need help. Donations are tax deductable, of course. Thanks for reading this "OT" message.
