The Hundred returns for its sixth edition on Tuesday, and this year's tournament looks very different from the one that came before it.
Private investors now control all eight franchises, three teams have been rebranded, and the competition has replaced its player draft with a first-ever auction carrying a record salary cap of £2.05 million.

MI London arrives as the team to beat, having won three consecutive men's titles under their previous Oval Invincibles identity, along with two women's trophies. London Spirit, meanwhile, are coached by Andy Flower, who recently ruled himself out of the England Test job.
Each side plays eight group matches, facing six teams once and their local rival twice.
The local pairings are Birmingham Phoenix and Trent Rockets, London Spirit and MI London, Manchester Super Giants and Sunrisers Leeds, and Southern Brave and Welsh Fire.
The team finishing top of the group stage qualifies directly for the final. The sides placed second and third meet in the Eliminator at the Kia Oval on August 14, with the winner advancing to Lord's.
Both finals take place on August 16, with the women's match starting at 2:15 p.m. BST and the men's final following at 6:00 p.m. BST. That translates to 6:45 p.m. IST and 10:30 p.m. IST for viewers in India.
