The Sun will take a trip to Brooklyn and face the Liberty in their 2026 season opener.
With a revamped roster, Connecticut is hoping to make a leap after missing the playoffs last season with an overall record of 11-33. Led by veteran center Brittney Griner, the Sun will spend one more year in Connecticut before relocating to Houston in 2027.
After falling to the Mercury in the first round last year, the Liberty replaced head coach Sandy Brondello with Chris DeMarco. Sabrina Ionescu and Satou Sabally have been ruled out on New York's injury report, but the Liberty will still have Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones.
