After facing Team Puerto Rico in an exhibition game on Tuesday, the Red Sox will shift back to their regular schedule with a spring training matchup against the Yankees.
While Boston has temporarily lost a few key players because of their participation in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, the Red Sox still have stars on their roster. Lefty ace Garrett Crochet will take the mound on Wednesday afternoon and look to shut down New York in his second spring training appearance.
The Yankees will also be missing some big bats, most notably three-time AL MVP Aaron Judge, who is leading Team USA at the WBC.
