No. 11 Ohio State women's basketball (18-3) has the chance to bounce back from its 91-70 loss to No. 8 Iowa when the Buckeyes host Wisconsin (13-8) on Jan. 29.
While the Buckeyes' biggest shortcoming in the Iowa matchup was their lack of height, another factor in the loss was their failure to capitalize on the limited momentum they built.
"We would go on a run, and then we wouldn’t bounce our offense into our defense," Ohio State center Elsa Lemmila said. "Then it kind of flipped around. Sometimes our defense was a lot better than our offense, but just consistently trying to keep those at the same level throughout the game is kind of what we were missing."
The Buckeyes typically force 23 turnovers per game, producing an average 28 points off turnovers. Against Iowa, Ohio State scored just 13 points off 15 forced turnovers.
Wisconsin averages the third-most turnovers per game in the conference with 16.8.
