The Penguins' path to the NHL Playoffs will soon be revealed.
On Thursday afternoon, the NHL will release the official schedule for the 2026-27 regular season. The new campaign will expand to 84 games with the addition of two more divisional battles for each team.
Here is everything you need to know about the NHL schedule release for the 2026-27 regular season, including TV and streaming options for the show.
How to watch NHL schedule release 2026: TV channel, live stream
- TV channel: NHL Network
- Live stream: fubo
NHL Network will air a special edition of "NHL Tonight" covering the schedule release for the 2026-27 regular season.
Viewers can stream the schedule release show with fubo, which gives fans the ability to watch ESPN, ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and 100-plus top channels of live TV and sports without cable. (Participating plans only. Taxes and fees may apply.)
NHL schedule release 2026 date, start time
- Date: Thursday, July 16
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
The complete schedule for the 2026-27 NHL regular season will be revealed at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 16.
The league previously announced that the regular season will open with a tripleheader on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
