It is a rematch of the 1999 NBA Finals as the San Antonio Spurs will face the New York Knicks in a series that starts on Wednesday in Texas. Of course, 22-year-old Victor Wembanyama wasn't born when Tim Duncan, David Robinson & Co. beat the Knicks in five games in 27 years ago.

The games will be on ABC television with Mike Breen doing play-by-play and Richard Jefferson and Tim Legler on analysis. The teams split their regular season meetings in 2025-26. The Spurs won 134-132 in a shootout in San Antonio on New Year's Eve. The Knicks won a blowout, 114-89, on March 1.

There was also the in-season championship game tournament that saw the Knicks win 124-113 on Dec. 16.
