The Madhya Pradesh League has expanded to include ten men's franchises and five women's teams.
Three new sides have been added to the men's draw: Malwa Stallions, Ujjain Falcons, and Royal Nimar Eagles, taking the total up from seven teams in 2025.
The Gwalior Division Cricket Association is hosting the event under the oversight of the MPCA, with matches underway at the Holkar Stadium in Indore from June 3.

Venkatesh Iyer, Rajat Patidar, and Avesh Khan are among the marquee players set to feature in the competition.
The MPL, also known as the Scindia Cup, has already produced two different champions in two seasons. Jabalpur Lions won the inaugural title in 2024, defeating Bhopal Leopards in the final.
The Leopards came back to claim the trophy in 2025, beating Chambal Ghariyals by a margin of just two runs.
