The Dallas Wings (16-8) return from a week off with a five-game winning streak as they host the Los Angeles Sparks (10-14), losers of three straight, at Arlington’s College Park Center on Sunday.

Nneka Ogwumike passed Lisa Leslie as Los Angeles’ all-time leading scorer on Friday in a 96-82 road loss to the Chicago Sky. Ogwumike finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds and broke Leslie’s mark of 6,263 points with the Sparks with her first bucket of the game about three minutes in. Dearica Hamby also scored 18 points and Erica Wheeler added 14.
The Wings came from behind in the fourth quarter on July 12 to beat the visiting Sky 96-91. Paige Bueckers led the way with 22 points and 11 assists while Jessica Shepard went for 19 points and 10 rebounds. Arike Ogunbowale scored 17 points, No. 1 overall pick Azzi Fudd added 16 and reserve Li Yueru went for 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Bueckers averages 20.7 points and 6.3 assists for Dallas, which won the first meeting between the teams in Los Angeles on June 5. Shepard gets 15.0 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. With Kelsey Plum still out with a lower leg injury, Ogwumike averages 17.3 points and 8.9 boards for the Sparks, with Hamby knocking down 14.6 points per game and Wheeler dishing 5.0 assists a night.
