The Detroit Mercy men's basketball team is one win away from a championship, and ending a 13-year NCAA Tournament drought.
No. 3 seed Detroit Mercy (17-14) takes on top-seeded Wright State (22-11) in the Horizon League championship 7 p.m. Tuesday at Corteva Colieseum in Indianapolis.
The Titans, who advanced with a 70-64 victory over No. 2 seed Robert Morris in the semifinals, is seeking its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2012.
The two teams split their regular-season meetings, with Detroit Mercy falling, 84-82, on Jan. 9 at Calihan Hall, but winning on the road Feb. 12, 77-74.
