The gold standard for clutch kicking, Adam Vinatieri was an instrumental piece of four Super Bowl-winning teams. The former Patriot will be recognized for his consistent excellence during Saturday's Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Signed as an undrafted free agent, Vinatieri played for the Patriots from 1996 to 2005 before kicking for the Colts from 2006 to 2019. He captured three Super Bowl rings with New England (2001, 2003, 2004) and another championship with Indianapolis (2006).
Vinatieri retired as the NFL's all-time leader in points scored (2,673), points scored in the playoffs (238), field goals made (599) and field goals made in the playoffs (56). He began his career as an undrafted free agent, and his football story will conclude with a triumphant moment in Canton, Ohio.
