Mexico goes up against Australia on Saturday in its penultimate warm-up fixture ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Time is running out for World Cup 2026 co-host Mexico to get its affairs in order before the biggest sporting event of the year. And Australia will travel to the Rose Bowl on Saturday, hoping to upset El Tri’s preparations as they too look to stage a turn-up for the books in North America this summer.

Javier Aguirre’s side has only two warm-up fixtures left before they open the World Cup 2026, with a showdown against Serbia still to come after this weekend’s action in California.
