You are missing the point.

Acting like the only reason why the 49ers might not win the division is because of their faults is not accurate.

I am not expecting anyone associated with other teams in the division to ever believe we will win the division. I expect NFL reporters to do their job though.

Instead of inferring the Cardinals did not improve at all this offseason which is objectively false and you could still make an argument against us winning the division.

It is laziness covered for by condescension.

If you were the lead writer of Bleacher Report of an NFL team (which this guy was) and decided to write a story about an opposing team being the divisional favorites according to a season predictor, you wouldn't attempt to explain why?

Then why write the story? To gaslight your own fans into a false sense of confidence?
