The fan in me, expects to go to, and win the Super bowl every year.

The realist, just wants improvement every year, I'm not saying that a 7 win season would be good news, but.. Will everyone here call 8-8 a failure?

I won't if it happens.

That being said, I have high hopes of a 9-10 win season, but the fact remains:
We have a FAT question mark at the QB position, If Warner can revive even 70% of his former self.. We have a good shot at the division IMO..

If the O-line and Warner never gel? 7-8 wins is all we can expect.

I Really expect to win the division on Defense alone, If the offense clicks then I feel this team could Win much more than just the division  This is the best squad the Cards have had since I have been a fan since 94.

I would be disappointed with less than 9-7

11-5 and up would be fantastic
10-6 would be very good
9-7 would be OK/good
8-8 would be somewhat disappointed
7-9 I would be very disappointed.

With all the offseason changes I would hope we could improve by more than 1 game.

Unless Warner completely falls apart I do believe 11-5 is very possible. I will dissapointed if we don't win the division.

To tell the truth, I can't see them winning more than 1, maybe 2, road games.

I see a possible win at SF and a win at Indy if Indy doesnt need the game for a playoff slot, etc. Other than that, I cant see any more road wins.

Yes, I would say 8-8 is a failure. They've made way too many improvements. Last year's team could have easily won 8 games.

They should have beaten ATL in week 3, SF both times, and SEA in week 16. That would have been 10 wins. For the sake of argument, let's say they only win 2 of those 4, that's 8 wins. This is a much better team now.

I expect no less than 9 wins, provided they stay reasonably healthy. I think 10 wins is more likely, though. Any expectations beyond that might be asking a bit much, but who knows?

Did you forget last year, there were 3 roads games we could have won, Atlanta, Tha Rams, and San Fran. There is no reason why 4 and 4 is out of the question on the raod with 5 and 3 to 6 and 2 at home. I see 4 to 5 road games that are very winnable, Giants, Seahawks, 49ers, Lions, and Rams, and you can even throw the Texans in there.
I say 10-6 is reachable, but 9-7 is realistic and a division winner in the West.

Ask me after week 2

If we're 2-0 going into Seattle in week three, yeah we got a great chance. It's hard to underestimate how important it is to win that initial road game in New Jersey and set a positive tone for the season.

Climbing over Seattle and St.Louis is a challenge, but it's not like it's Mt. Everest. Both have suspect defenses and other flaws. We have improved dramatically, they have not.

On paper, we are right up there, so going by that we should win it. That being said, we still have to see how these guys are all gonna gell together, Warner, Q and Fitz need to get in sync, the O-line needs to step it up, the RB's gotta come out big and our DB's are gonne need to learn very fast, there's alot of work ahead for these guys and I'm sure DG will excelerate that learning curve

Yes I dream every year of making the playoffs but my head tells me our chances ride on the arm of Kurt Warner. If he can be a good QB not a great one and we have a decent running game we can make the playoffs. If Warner cannot get it done then we will be an 8-8 team. If he plays well we can win 10 games and that should put us in the playoffs.

I have a $25 bet with my brother that the Cards make the playoffs and a $20 bet with my sister that they win the division. I fully expect to collect on both come January.
