The LSU Tigers are slowly taking over every single professional sport. They have some of the biggest stars in the industry and have recently dipped into the WNBA again. There have been some legendary names come through Baton Rouge, but the Kim Mulkey is starting to build some great momentum once again.
Morrow was the inspiration for this post, as she was just traded on Friday. The Tempo are giving her an opportunity to be the first young face of the franchise, as they just joined the WNBA in 2026. The team needs a rebounder, and Morrow has a very high ceiling.
She needs this change of environment, as she hasn't had the cleanest start to her career. She has averaged 11.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals per game on 42.1/28.4/.62.5 shooting splits. She has the chance to be an elite floor spacer, showcasing some of that potential in college.
Reese remains one of the more controversial figures in basketball, but even out of her control at this point. Two and a half seasons into her WNBA career, Reese can be known as a very reliable, impactful player.
The 24-year-old has taken another step up this season. He's averaging 15.6 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game. She has never been able to expand her game into being a three-point shooter, but that's fine. She has been named to three All-Star teams.
She was traded to the Dream this offseason and is doing well with her new crew. At worst, she has gone from one of the worst team stop one of the best.
Johnson had a hectic draft night where she unexpectedly got taken by the Golden State Valkyrie, but immediately got traded to the Storm. The Valkyrie offered a fun opportunity, but she’s fine either way. Going to Seattle gets her to a great basketball city where she can truly become a star.
As a rookie, she’s put up 13.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists on poor efficiency, but she’s still doing good things for her first year. Seattle is going through a little bit of a rebuild, so there is time for her to come into her own.
