Although not all that surprising, the Jacksonville Jaguars rank near the bottom of the NFL in 2026 draft capital value.
Josh Edwards of CBS Sports ranked each team from 32nd to 1st by the value of their draft picks after assigning each selection in every round a specific value and then adding those figures together.
When it comes to the Jaguars, they rank 28th with their selections over the three days totaling 250.58 points. Weighing Jacksonville down in these rankings is the fact that they do not have a first-round pick.
Only Indianapolis, Atlanta, Green Bay, and Denver rank lower -- all of whom also do not have a first-round pick.
While the Jaguars may not have a first-round pick, GM James Gladstone does have 11 selections in total, which is tied for the second-most among teams. In addition to that, four of those picks come within the top 100, still providing the Jaguars the opportunity to add some immediate help to their roster.
The sheer number of picks that the Jaguars have, coupled with the current state of the overall roster, provides them with quite a bit of flexibility in this year's draft. As Gladstone described recently, the team does not feel that a specific position has to be addressed at a certain point. Rather, their big board can dictate which direction they go.
That is a luxury that every team is striving for.
