Anthony Gordon goal video vs. Argentina
Gordon was the beneficiary of a splendid string of passes. Harry Kane's lofted effort forced an acrobatic clearance from Nicolas Tagliafico. The Argentine full-back couldn't get enough to clear the ball from danger, with the orb finding Declan Rice in space.
Rice delivered a one-time pass to Morgan Rogers, who spotted Gordon sprinting deep inside the box. The Aston Villa midfielder fired an inch-perfect cross into Gordon's path, who got his right foot in front of Nahuel Molina before flicking the ball into the near post corner.
His teammates swarmed him as he reached the corner flag, embracing the newly minted Barcelona man. With his deft touch, Gordon recorded his first-ever World Cup goal.
