The Houston Rockets will play host to the Atlanta Hawks at their home arena of Toyota Center this Friday (March 20) night. There, the Rockets will be looking to snap their current losing streak vs. their Eastern Conference foe. On the other side of the court, a red-hot Hawks outfit has a different point of view on how this contest should end as they look to keep their current win streak rolling vs. Houston.
We expect a Hawks win given how both ball clubs have been playing of late, but Houston has a very good shot of upending that outcome given their recent skid and the motivation it could provide.
At present, the Rockets have a 41-27 record and a two game losing streak, which has them fifth in the Western Conference standings.
The Hawks are the owners of a 38-31 record and an 11-game win streak, good enough for sixth in the East.
Houston lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 124-116 at home.
Atlanta beat the Dallas Mavericks 135-120 on the road.
For Houston, Steven Adams (ankle), Jae'Sean Tate (knee), and Fred VanVleet (ACL) are out.
For Atlanta, Jonathan Kuminga (knee) is out.
