Yuck another road to home back to back. :( We have not been playing well. Amare has turned up the heat on D but the rest of the team has fallen of. Or shots are not falling and it seams like the team has really run out of gas. The Hornets should be fired up for this game and it could get ugly. I hope for a win tonight and at least some time to rest our starters.

I'm sure we will win this one. this is a good game to work on playing a complete game. We are SUPPOSED to win, and we can afford to actually work on things we need to for the playoffs. Defense, and agressiveness. we could maybe even try and post up some people a little bit.

One thing the suns do is play up or down to their competition. we need to be consistent. There is no room for playing anywhere but above your competition in the playoffs, becuase no team we will face is there by accident.

the desire for dominating teams needs to show now, especially, when there really is no question who should win this game.

Just win and stay healthy. No more ankle sprains.

I'm with ya Skkorp - get Nash some rest as well. Basically - take care of business!

I know there have been a million changes on the roster over the past two seasons, so it's not fair to second-guess, but how good would Brevin Knight look right now?

Along with the draft pick that we used to get rid of White...

and along with salary for both Jahidi, the 1st round pick and Brevin Night's contract - we'd be... oh yeah - LAST YEAR'S TEAM.

No thank you - I'll take the loss of that first round pick and getting rid of Knight in exchange for the best record in the league.

Did Jackson just get tossed? Why??

Edit: I ask because Yahoo Game Channel said he got a double technical.

another pathetic performance so far. All this talk about learning that we need to play 4 quarters is just that... talk.

You may be able to turn it on against the drek of the west but the playoffs are gonna be a different story.

SA keeps marching on and we continue to struggle. For us to be down in the third to this pathetic scrap heap of a team is mind boggling.

a win's a win, but these last couple ain't making me feel all warm inside.

And is it just me - or are we walking the ball up the court with increasing regularity? Ouchie and I both commented numerous times last night in comparison when we went to the first Lakers Suns game - when we were amazed at how we were pushing the ball every single time. I'm praying they are just conserving energy and get back to that style in the postseason - when they play that way, they were untouchable. I mean - maybe there was something to that whole "Nash wears down thing" - his shooting in the last 5 games is 10% of the rest of the season, his points are down 5/game, assists down and turnovers up. He needs to be the little Stevie Nash he was at the beginning of the season for us to be successful against the top teams in the league.

Nice to get a couple days off here and I say hold out Q for Clips game also - let him be as healthy as possible for those last three games - which I think are gonna be huge.

Nice to see Nash only playing 30 minutes.

EDIT:

Never mind...CBS updated their box, he played 36...

3-11 shooting is not encouraging from Nash...

Opponents are making a bigger commitment to getting back, and/or the Suns are making a bigger commitment to secure defensive rebounds. You can't have everything. The Suns won the rebounding battle tonight and gave up only 12 offensive boards, below their average. It was more exciting when the Suns were running on every possession, even before actually getting the ball, but I'm not sure it would be more effective come playoff time.

Nash looked very tired. He couldn't make a shot, and it must have been some very charitable scorekeeping to pin only two turnovers on him. Given how much he had to play last night, that's not too surprising, but I think the Suns will need their off days in the playoffs as much as their opponents will.

The game began to look like a preseason scrimage with CJ, Vroman, and Lampe playing against the Suns starters. Actually, I thought NO played pretty well and JR Smith looks like a real player. But in the end, the Suns have Amare the Hornets don't.

He and JR Smith got the double Techs.

Double T's are when 1 player on each team simultaneoulsy get tech, resulting in no FTs.

If someone gets 2 techs back to back, I think it will list them individually.

I really wanted JR in the draft (when we had a mid first). He does look good, that is for sure.

Yahoo's game channel is usually quite good, but they often screw up technicals.

Thanks for the clarification. As I saw him continue to play I guess he wasn't tossed but I didn't get what did happen.

Guess we couldn't blow them out earlier to let Nash rest....

A little scare to me 'cause we were tied at 73 in 3rd Q!!

Jim Jackson is excellent AGAIN!!
