St. Louis Rams WR Torry Holt (back) did limited work during practice Wednesday, Sept. 8, and is questionable for Week 1. The team held him out of their final preseason game due to back spasms.

Holt questionable? We could use all the help we can get..and before anyone yells at me...no I'm not happy he's hurt...but I would love it if he were to sit this game out...

It sounds like precautionary procedures. He might feel his back spasm again when he get hit or when he hits the turf.

frist time across the middle - I want Adrian Wilson's shoulder jammed into Holt's back. It's a brutal game and when you have a chance to increase your opportunity to win - you do it. Bash me if you want - but this team needs to start capitalizing on others weaknesses.

He's my only sure thing Fantasy WR so I was hoping he'd play really well in a loss.

i've got Fitz(iffy), Holt(questionable) Darius Watts(3rd WR on a team reportedly running a lot of 2 TE sets) and Calico(injured).

My only healthy WR's sure to play much are Roy Williams, and Michael Lewis who is mainly a kick returner.

And with a Thursday game I have to decide who to play by tomorrow.

I actually wondered why we didn't bring in Bronson considering D Jax being hurt.

The injuries to both teams are astounding.

Bronson wasn't a starter. The Rams move Aeneas from FS to CB in their nickel set and would have probably used Bronson at FS in that package once he got up to speed.

Johnson and Fitz sat out the last game too. Martz was protecting his WRs just like Green was IMO.

All the addition of Bronson did was bolster an already deep group of safeties. They're also so deep on the O-line that Nutten isn't listed as a starter.

Note - Rams do have a problem at one of the corners, aren't real strong at the DE opposite Little and have little depth behind their starting DT's with Kennedy still hurting.

You're right. I forgot they were starting Dishman ahead of Nutten.

The other four positions are solid and, when you can lose Turley and still say this, at least you could say that they started off with a deep unit.

Note - I hear they are very happy with Tercero.

"Questionable" usually means the guy will play, especially a star like Holt. I expect Holt and the Rams to build the drama and then Holt will do his Willis Reed impersonation and start the game.

The Rams are not deep in the secondary or OL. They wanted Sehorn back and he failed his physical today. A team that has to talk Dishman out of retirement is not deep at the OL. Dishman got a lot of playing time in preseason.

True, but it doesn't always mean that and questionable on Thursday is not always the same as on Friday or Saturday.

I'm sure he'll play, I'm still starting him. Haven't decided on Fitz or Roy Williams yet I do sort of think Green may be sandbagging a bit on him.
