Is Emmanuel McNeil-Warren a player of interest for the New England Patriots in the 2026 NFL Draft?
McNeil-Warren was a second-team All-American by the FWAA in 2025. The Toledo safety recorded two interceptions, five passes defended, and three forced fumbles in his final collegiate season. The Patriots have eyes on McNeil-Warren after losing safety Jaylinn Hawkins to the Baltimore Ravens in free agency.
They signed First-Team All-Pro safety Kevin Byard, who is 32 years old, to a one-year deal in free agency. So they could use some youth on the backend of the defense.
As a guest on Monday’s episode of the “Up & Adams Show,” McNeil-Warren revealed that he had a top-30 visit with the Patriots this offseason.
"I had [a visit] a couple of weeks ago with the Patriots. It went good. I like they facility, the whole coaching staff. I met the whole coaching staff. So to be able to meet them, it was cool," said McNeil-Warren.
McNeil-Warren is one of the 30 prospects that the Patriots will get the chance to meet with this offseason. He is also in line to meet with the Browns for another top-30 visit prior to the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Florida native is a highly-regarded prospect at safety. McNeil-Warren is widely projected to be a first-round pick in the draft.
