The Philadelphia Eagles kicked off their offseason program on April 20 at the Jefferson Health Training Center, where head coach Nick Sirianni welcomed back fresh faces on the roster and addressed tremendous coaching staff changes after moving on from Kevin Patullo and Jeff Stoutland.
Philadelphia is in the midst of a potentially franchise-altering offseason, during which general manager Howie Roseman has made some big moves as he continues to build a contending roster. That included the decision to sign Jordan Davis to a three-year, $78 million contract extension, acquire pass rusher Jonathan Greenard, and then hand out a $100 million contract extension. There are plenty of new faces on the roster who will also have a chance to build rapport with their teammates and learn their respective schemes.
Now, nearly a month later, Philadelphia is firmly entrenched in Phase Two of the off-season program, with Phase Three about two weeks away, when those reduced OTA sessions and the mandatory mini-camp will take place in early June.
With the off-season quickly moving along, here are sights and sounds presented by the Eagles during the first five weeks of the off-season program.
The final four weeks of the program may consist of a total of 10 organized team activities (OTAs) practices. During this time, no live contact is permitted. But teams are allowed to conduct 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills.
The Eagles will meet as a team, including rookies, beginning May 20 for the first of six voluntary OTA practices at the Jefferson Health Training Center. They'll meet May 26-27, May 29, June 1-2, and June 4.
The Eagles will hold their mandatory minicamp from June 9-10, marking the final organized set of practices before training camp in late July.
