With All-State teams announced for high school basketball, the Houma-Thibodaux area had representatives in each of the five classes.
In the top two — Classes 4A and 5A — the area had 10 representatives, with seven different schools having at least one player make either first-team, second-team, or honorable mention.
Here's the full list:
Charles closed her high school career averaging 12 points per game, earning second-team All-State honors in Class 4A, and being named state championship MVP.
Clark helped the Tigers to a playoff appearance in Division I non-select, being named All-State honorable mention in Class 5A.
After surpassing the 1,000-point mark earlier this year, Cortez closes her high school career as All-State honorable mention in Class 4A.
The rare player who can play all five positions, Johnson was named All-State honorable mention in Class 5A.

After averaging 14 points per game in a state championship season, Johnson was named second-team All-State in Class 4A.
Fresh off leading the Tigers to a first-round upset of Airline, Lacy was named All-State honorable mention in Class 5A.
Pollard finished her junior season as an All-State honorable mention in Class 5A.

Although not a player, Coleman deserves a mention for being named the Class 4A girls basketball Coach of the Year.
