Detroit — The NBA announced the schedule for the 2026 NBA Summer League, which will occur from July 9 to July 19 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas. The Detroit Pistons will open their Summer League schedule on July 9 against the Philadelphia 76ers. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m. ET inside Cox Pavilion on Amazon Prime.
The Pistons will then have back-to-back games on July 12 and 13, facing the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks. Both games are set to tip off at 4 p.m. ET, and will be available on Amazon Prime. Their final scheduled game will take place July 15 against the Phoenix Suns at 6 p.m. ET, broadcast on ESPNU.
The Pistons' final game of the Summer League tournament will be announced before the start of the semifinals July 18. The top four teams will compete for a chance to meet in the championship game July 19.
The Pistons have not yet announced their roster for the 2026 Summer League tournament. However, the roster will include rookies Ebuka Okorie and Ugonna Onyenso from Virginia. The Pistons acquired both players after trading up in the 2026 NBA Draft.
During the first round of the draft, the Pistons moved up from the 21st to the 17th pick with the Memphis Grizzlies to select Okorie from Stanford. The combo guard will debut with the Pistons after an impressive freshman year, where he averaged 23.2 points over 32 games.
The Pistons traded with the New York Knicks to get into the second round on Wednesday night to draft Onyenso from Virginia. Onyenso finished his college career on a high note, averaging 6.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks in 36 games for the Cavaliers.
