Here are the EZ Cash of Delaware, Inc. Athlete of the Week nominees for Oct. 6-12

Every week this high school sports season, fans across Delmarva will have the chance to vote for the EZ Cash of Delaware, Inc. Athlete of the Week.

Nominees are selected based on their performances over the previous week, Oct. 6-12, and nominations must be submitted by Sunday at 8 p.m. Anyone can submit a candidate for consideration by emailing [email protected]. You must email the athlete's name, school, sport and stats from that week.

Votes will only be counted from the provided poll. Do not email your vote.

Voting will open each Monday morning and close each Wednesday at 3 p.m. You can find a breakdown of each athlete's week underneath.

Luca Russo (Stephen Decatur Girls Soccer)

• Scored the game-winning goal in overtime in their victory over James M. Bennett last week.

Landon Roache (Wicomico Football)

• Threw four touchdown passes in their win over North Caroline last week.

Kyle Mumford (Stephen Decatur Football)

• Ran for two touchdowns in their win over James M. Bennett last week.

Chloe Holland (Pocomoke Field Hockey)

• Scored the lone goal in their win over James M. Bennett last week.

Kirby Bounds (Stephen Decatur Volleyball)

• Had 30 service points, 7 of which were aces, 4 defensive digs and 8 assists for points in their win over Wicomico last week.

Bella Campbell (Mardela Girls Soccer)

• Scored three goals in their win over North Dorchester last week.

Mekhi Waters (Snow Hill Football)

• Returned an interception for a touchdown and forced and recovered a fumble in their game against Colonel Richardson last week.
