The NCHSAA state track championships are being contested at the Marcus T. Johnson Track and Field at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro.
Classes 2A and 4A were contested on May 13, with 1A and 3A taking the track on May 14. Classes 5A and 7A are on May 15, with the track season concluding with 6A and 8A on May 16.

- Jayden Nolley, Stuart Cramer: Claimed state gold in the 400-meter race (48.99 seconds).
Girls
- Kailyn Campbell, Stuart Cramer: Placed third in the 100- (12.38 seconds) and 200-meter (25.43 seconds) dashes.
2A state championships

- Mountain Island Charter 4x100-meter relay: Won state gold with a time of 42.55 seconds.

- Mountain Island Charter 4x800-meter relay: Placed second (8:14.16).
- Javon Boyd, Mountain Island Charter: Placed second in the 200-meter dash (22.34 seconds).
- Cameron Gaston, Mountain Island Charter: Claimed state gold in the 300-meter hurdles (38.96 seconds), placed second in the 100-meter dash (10.98 seconds), third in the 110-meter hurdles (14.63 seconds) and fourth in the 200-meter dash (22.50 seconds).
- Brady Goodwin, Mountain Island Charter: Placed third in the pole vault (12 feet).
Girls
- Ajuliah Washington, Mountain Island Charter: Won a state title in the high jump (5 feet, 2 inches), and placed second in the 100-meter dash (12.37 seconds).
- Mountain Island Charter 4x100-meter relay: Claimed state gold with a time of 48.15 seconds.
- Mountain Island Charter 4x200-meter relay: Claimed state gold with a time of 1:43.55.
- Mountain Island Charter 4x400-meter relay: Finished second (4:07.11).
- Carrington Hernandez, Mountain Island Charter: Placed second in the 400-meter dash (56.58 seconds).
- Sadie Leeson, Mountain Island Charter: Finished fourth in the 200-meter dash (25.94 seconds).
- Goodness Nsofor, Mountain Island Charter: Won a state title in the long jump (17 feet, 11 ¾ inches) and placed third in the 300-meter hurdles (47.76 seconds).
